Terms of use

These terms apply to everyone who uses indiajapankaizen.com (“the site”), run by India Japan Kaizen (“we”, “us”). They cover browsing the site and everything you do with an account: your profile, and any events, classes and posts you publish.

Your account is shared with ijk.co.in. By creating an account or publishing anything on this site, you agree to these terms.

You keep ownership of what you write. By publishing it here, you give us a free, non-exclusive, worldwide licence to host, display and share it on the site and on India Japan Kaizen’s social media, for as long as it is published.

You are responsible for what you publish. Only publish content you have the right to share, and keep event and class details (dates, prices, venues) accurate.

Everything you publish should be positive, or genuinely helpful, for people and businesses connecting India and Japan.

The following are not accepted anywhere on the site, including profiles, events, classes and posts:

• Violence, threats, or content that encourages harm to anyone.
• Hate speech, or content that attacks or demeans people for their nationality, ethnicity, caste, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or any similar trait.
• Religious promotion: preaching, proselytising, or spreading religious messages or material.
• Harassment, bullying, or sharing someone else’s personal information without their consent.
• Illegal content, scams, misleading offers, or spam.
• Sexually explicit material.
• Content that infringes someone else’s copyright, trademark or other rights.

We reserve the right to hide or delete any post, profile, event or class, and to suspend or close any account, at any time, at our sole discretion, with or without notice and with or without giving a reason.

Events and classes posted by members are run by those members, not by us. We are not a party to any arrangement between you and an organiser or teacher, including payments, and we are not responsible for how an event or class is run. Check the details with the organiser before you go or pay.

The site is provided as it is. Guides and posts are for general information, not professional advice. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using the site or from content published by others.

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the site or these terms will be heard exclusively by the courts of Japan.

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept it. If the translations differ, the English version applies.
